Hi, I’m Daniel Hahn, founder and president of One Goal, a nonprofit led by high school students from Irvine. Growing up playing soccer,

I realized that not everyone has the same opportunity to enjoy the sport we love.

Driven to make a difference, I started One Goal to give back to our community through soccer-related service events.

I am dedicated to expanding the reach of soccer and ensuring everyone has access to this wonderful game.

Having played this game for over 5 years, I realize the impact that soccer has and how not everyone has equal access to equipment and coaching. I joined OneGoal to build partnerships, organize community events, and support programs that provide access to mentorship and equipment to the youth.

Outside of soccer, I am passionate trumpet player.

Declining Youth Participation in Sports.

  • According to a poll conducted by Leagueside, teen participation in youth sports have dropped by roughly 10-15%. 

  • Between the ages of 6-12, many children participate in soccer, but by ages 13-18, participation drops by 50%.
